FireLine is a microfused braided bead thread made from gel spun polyethylene. FireLine bead thread is one of the strongest threads available, comparable in strength to beading wire.
This super strong, flexible, pre-waxed braided beading thread is made from gel-spun polyethylene, one of the strongest fiber cords per diameter ever created. Beadworkers and bead stringers will find that this new product feels and works better than the finest bead thread, yet is as strong as jewelry wire. Most beads will not cut this product. It does not stretch, it knots easily, and will pass through a #12 beading needle.

This product is compared often to Fireline, as it also has similar qualities as extra strength or multiple passes through beads. Dura-Line has an impressive 18-pound test, does not stretch, knots easily and comes pre-coated for added fray resistance. Each spool contains 50 meters which is 54 yards or 164 feet of Duraline.
