Did you experience a zip code error on your order and it shows up on your bank account? Let us explain why

Zip code validation is a security measure that is used by many online retailers to protect against fraud. When you enter your payment information during checkout, the retailer will compare the zip code you entered with the one on file with your bank. If they don't match, the transaction may be declined.

There are a few reasons why your zip code may fail validation. It could be because you accidentally mistyped it during checkout, or it could be because the zip code you provided is not the same as the address on file with your bank due to a move in residence. It's also possible that the issue could be caused by an autofill feature in your browser, which may have filled in the wrong zip code without you realizing it. Sometimes it is as simple as a space between the postal code!

When a transaction is declined due to a zip code failure, your bank will typically show a "pending" charge on your account. However, the retailer (aka Sundaylace Creations) will not receive the funds for a completed order because the transaction was declined.

To avoid this issue, the retailer (Sundaylace Creations) may suggest alternative payment options such as email money transfer EMT or PayPal.

In summary, zip code validation is a security measure used by retailers to protect against fraud.
